IF: You're looking for a brawny, sticky all-mountain tire. Big knobs and WTB's soft Super Tack compound equal big traction in most conditions. The medium-duty casing keeps the tire reasonably light, so it's not too much of a burden on the climbs (even with the soft rubber), and is reasonably flat-resistant. This tire is a great companion to a 6-inch-travel bike in soft and loose conditions. BUT NOT IF: The Prowler XT does not excel as a front tire on hardpack.
